SSG Training and Consultancy are very much looking forward to returning as exhibitors at the 2019 Armed Forces Day event in Plymouth.
SSG has a strong military background, with many of our consultants and trainers, as well as associate members, having previously served in the forces; ranging from Royal Engineers to Royal Navy to the Defence Fire Service.
In 2017, SSG joined 1,300 other businesses in adopting and signing the Armed Forces Covenant and in October 2018 SSG we were proud recipients of the ‘Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award’. By signing the covenant, SSG endeavour to provide support in the employment of veterans young and old, service spouses and partners, and our own employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces. Tim Harnett, Tutor and Consultant at SSG, serves as a member of the Territorial Army Reserves and we have a number of team members who are military spouses with partners who routinely deploy on overseas operations.
SSG are also an accredited ELCAS and CTP training provider, having delivered training to Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Air Force and Army personnel in the last 24 months for both resettlement purposes and ongoing career development.
